Oswell Blakeston (1907–1985), though one of the great British masters of short horror and supernatural fiction, has never before had these tales collected. Here, for the first time, the bulk of his output in the genre is brought together, including numerous extremely hard to find pieces. Added to this are two appendices ("An Initiate Speaks" and "Magicians in London: A Recollection"), the subject of which is the artist and occultist Austin Osman Spare (1886-1956), who Blakeston was closely associated with.
An extremely limited leather-bound edition of this volume is also available directly from Occult Press.
