Of course, the Beast Six-Six-Six, as he additionally and unimaginatively styled himself, was a perpetually overcaffeinated neurasthenic who never at any point in his 'career' had not been entirely convinced the game was up. Yet for all his paranoid disposition or perhaps, naturally, because of it, he was a damned good spy.
