Using William S. Burroughs as a motif seems a bit cliche to me. But my cliche is closer to a reality of shared b-day and Lexington degrees of separation in space-time not so far off. But Gysin's visuals and their collage work together did loom large for me recently. Although the guts of it are its own thing. I was thinking if I ever made a sequel, it would turn into kind of a Kamandi/Elementals adventure comic, a crack team sent on a mission to Aztec ruins. Agent Lee in a pith helmet. And then that Rena secretary who makes a cameo would take on more of the attributes of the Kushite warriror queen, Amanirenas. She beat the Romans and archeologists— found the bust of Augustus they buried at the entrance to one of their temples, lol.
